Restaurant Formats
We are busy converting all our restaurants to our new restaurant design, called Braveheart Grey. We’ve also started rolling out bespoke designed Wimpys in key sites such as airports and Engen 1 Stops. The next time you’re in the Western Cape, make sure you check out our beautiful new restaurant at the V&A Waterfront!
Sitdown
The majority of Wimpy restaurants are sit-down restaurants with takeaway counters. Within this format we have a couple of Halaal restaurants. Here, we offer food that is of the highest quality and taste, because that’s what Wimpy is all about.
Roadhouse
Pull in for a quick bite without leaving your car, old-school style. That’s what our Roadhouses are all about. Enjoy a classic Wimpy Burger and chips, and a cool, creamy shake to the tunes in your car.
Drive Thru
Our Drive Thrus make it easy to live life at your own pace and to grab a Wimpy favourite on-the-go! Same food. Same quality. Quicker service! So stop at a Wimpy Drive Thru for your favourite Wimpy Burger, the best companion for life on the move!
Wimpy Delivery
Wimpy has also started offering in-home convenience with some restaurants offering their own Wimpy delivery service, while others make use of third party suppliers such as UberEats and MrD.
Engen Wimpy 1 Stop
In addition to enjoying Wimpy on high streets and at malls, you can also find us at Engen 1 Stops all along our country’s major transit routes. And stopping off to refuel at a Wimpy is considered a national pastime! So love the journey and let us fill your tank and your tummy!
